Don W. Carver's Obituary
Don W. Carver, 68, of Myrtle Beach, SC, died on May 31, 2005, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. Born in Deerfield on October 26, 1936, Mr. Carver lived in the Deerfield area most of his life. He lived in the Myrtle Beach area for the last 19 years. Mr. Carver was self employed as a carpenter and upholster and was a Jehovah's Witness by faith. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Prevot) Carver, of Myrtle Beach, SC; children, Cindy K. (Roy) Rockhold of Elizabeth, WV; Don Wayne (Gina) Carver, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; Rachel Mary (Saul) Martinez of Murrels Inlet, SC; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Cook and Lanora Rader; three brothers, Dick Carver, Jesse Carver, and Clifford Carver; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Maude (Bartholemew) Carver; and a sister, Amy Jones. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Glenn Moser officiating. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield.
