"Diane" Donohoe's Obituary
Judith “Diane” Donohoe, age 80, of Alliance passed away surrounded by family on August 31, 2022, at Aultman/Alliance Community Hospital. Diane was born November 7, 1941 in East Sparta, Ohio, to Claude and Amy (VanAllen) Ferguson.
Diane was a strong, independent, and hard working woman. She raised four “rotten” teenagers more or less on her own, doing things like shoveling sand at American Steel Foundries to provide for them.
She gave her love and support to her family in all ways, including in her prayers. Diane was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them, always with a smile, hug and book recommendation at hand. Providing nourishment to her family was a way she showed her love, favorites were chicken and dumplings, cookies, pumpkin rolls and homemade noodles. Diane was a woman of faith and a loyal member of the First Church of God. She retired from Alliance Public School System.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, infant daughter Katherine, and brothers Roland, James, Ted, Bob and Mike Ferguson and sisters Betty Mast, and Jackie Trainer. She leaves behind her children, Steven (Rhonda) Donohoe, Lonny (Patricia) Donohoe, Mark (Melissa) Donohoe and Linda (Drew) Long, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and brothers Claude, Jerry and Terry Ferguson and one sister, Kay Marshall.
