Diana A. Rotuna's Obituary
Diana A. Rotuna, 92, of Alliance, died on Monday, February 11, 2002, at the Bel Air Senior Living Community. Born in Westland, Pennsylvania on September 16, 1909, she had lived in the Alliance area most of her life. Mrs. Rotuna attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. After attending the Alliance Business College, she was employed at B & W Tube during WWII, and had also been a secretary for the Lang Tool and Die Company. Survivors include her daughter, Emma Carlile Blevins of Carroll County, Ohio; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, James K. Rotuna in 1937, (whom she married in 1925); her son, James A. Rotuna; her daughter-in-law, Betty (Greiner) Rotuna; her parents; August and Jennie (Benedetti) Tomerine; four sisters, Louise Tomerine, Mrs. Louis (Mary) Brush-Zaina, Mrs. Luciano (Martha) Piccinin, and Mrs. William (Nancy) Nervi; two brothers, Pete Tomerine and Angelo Tomerine; a grandson; and a great-grandson. A memorial service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park Chapel on Friday, February 15, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
