Derek A. Loudon's Obituary
Derek A. Loudon, 42, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 8:07 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center. Born on August 22, 1971 in Canton and was a graduate of Jackson High School. A veteran of Desert Storm, he served our country in the U. S. Marine Corps. Derek attended Damascus Friends Church and was a member of B.P.O Elks #467. He was employed at Fred Martin Ford-Mercedes in Austintown. In his past-time, he enjoyed playing golf and watching the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State football teams. Derek loved to visit Key West and was an avid Jimmy Buffet fan. Survivors include his wife, Tami (Young) Loudon, whom he married on August 16, 2005; two step sons, Ryan Duchon and Clay (Stephanie) Duchon; three grandchildren, Cole, Grady and Cooper; his mother, Cheryl (Joe) Vitale; his father, Craig (Cindy) Loudon; his grandmother, Betty Loudon; a sister, Jenn (Josh) Cassidy; a brother, Joe Vitale; a sister, Laurie (Vinnie) Alessandrini; brothers, Matt Loudon and Nate (Erica) Loudon; two nieces and a nephew. The family will receive friends at Damascus Friends Church on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. His memorial service with military honors will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Ryser officiating.
