Dennis "Denny" Twaddle, Sr.'s Obituary
Dennis "Denny" Twaddle, Sr., 69, of Alliance, went home to be with his Heavenly Father, on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 6, 1944 in Alliance, Ohio and lived in Alliance for all of his life. He was a graduate of Alliance High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam. Dennis retired from Chrysler Corporation, Twinsburg after 38 years of service. Dennis was in the food concession business for over 50 years, enjoyed watching Fox News, and was well known for his wit & humor. But he especially loved his family and grandchildren, two & four legged. Dennis is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cindy (Brady) Twaddle of Alliance; two sons, Dennis & Kelly Twaddle Jr. of Alliance and Mark & Melissa Twaddle of Alliance; grandchildren, Max, Leroy, Raymond, Adalina & Adan, Calvin, Kody & Oscar; a sister, Dolores Mooney-Bartlett of Akron; two brothers, Harold & Violet Twaddle of Edgewater, FL, and Alan & Karen Twaddle of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Kathryn (Ketler) Twaddle; and a grandchild, Leo. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David V. Hohlbaugh of Marlboro Assembly of God, officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
