Dennis R. "D Ray" Gillman, II,'s Obituary
Dennis R. "D Ray" Gillman, II, 35, of Beloit, died on Friday, July 1, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in Alliance on February 14, 1970, he had lived in the Alliance area for all of his life. He attended Alliance High School and was a self-employed roofer. He was a member of the Roma Society and the Dante Alighieri Society. D Ray enjoyed playing cards and collected Hot Wheels and football cards. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. He is survived by two beautiful daughters, Denielle Rae Gillman and Ashley Rebecca Gillman, both of Canton; his mother and step father, Edna and William Warner of Alliance; his father Dennis Gillman of Alliance; his grandmothers, Enos Gillman of Alliance and Ruth Schreckengost of Alliance; two sisters, Brandi Jo Pasco of South Carolina and Heather Gates of South Carolina; two brothers, Anthony "Buddy" Gillman of Beloit and Brian Shaw of Alliance; a niece, Kari Pasco; a nephew Tyler Warner; numerous aunts & uncles; and three special children who loved him very much, Tani, Brittany and Jordan Sudimac. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Columbus Gillman and Bill Schreckengost; and several cousins. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5, 2005, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. "All of you are special to me. Now that I may rest without any pain, in Heaven my soul is free and my hurting is now a big beautiful sky, I am the sun, rainbows, and I am at peace. Love is all around, so no crying for me, as for I am so much happier up in Heaven. And I will always Love Everyone. Smile, Laugh and Love. This is what you will fill the room with. I am free."
