Denise M. (Burns) Carver's Obituary
Denise Marie (Burns) Carver, 55, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her residence on June 29, 2010. She was born and raised in Alliance and had resided in the Hartville area for nine years. She was an avid baking enthusiast who loved creating custom recipes and was published in multiple cookbooks. She dearly loved making cookie trays and confections for her family s gatherings. Denise was sole proprietor of Burns Bakery. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren beyond words. Denise is survived by a daughter, Sonya (Matt) Moretta of Massillon; a son, Chris (Charlene) Burns of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Gwen, Emma, Hayden, and Ronin Burns and IsaBella, Aidan, and Donovan Moretta; a grandson on the way; her mother, Kate (Dick) Vandal of Alliance; three sisters, BJ Burns, Tina (Dickie) Vandal and Linda Burns, all of Alliance; two brothers, Paul Burns and Mark (Gay Ann) Burns, all of Alliance; several nieces and nephews; and her partner of twelve years, Thomas Hathaway. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, July 9, 2010, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
