Delores Hunt's Obituary
Delores I. (Vickers) Hunt, 98, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:45 am at Arbors Of Minerva in Minerva, Ohio.
Born on April 28, 1925 in Alliance to Elmer and Carrie (Putt) Vickers, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
A 1943 graduate of Alliance High School, Delores was a member of the First Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for 18 years and taught vacation bible school.
Delores enjoyed making clothes for her daughter, crocheting, embroidering, reading, and working in her meticulous yard.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonita (John Mondl) Kuntzman of Alliance; four grandchildren, Chris Hunt, Todd Hunt, Brent Kuntzman and Jill Schlarb; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, Carter; her daughter-in-law, Carol Hunt and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Ronald A. Hunt, whom she married on November 25, 1943 and who died on August 25, 2012; her son, Larry Hunt; grandson, Douglas Kuntzman; a sister, Dorothy Herman; and a brother, Donald Vickers.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:30 pm with Pastor Steve Smythers, of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
