Debra K. (Rush) Flitcraft's Obituary
Debra K. (Rush) Flitcraft, 59, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 9:10 a.m. at Community Care Center after a year and a half long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on September 19, 1953 in Waynesburg, PA, she lived in Alliance most of her life, and was a 1972 graduate of Alliance High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of Alliance Secretaries Association. She was employed as front desk receptionist at Premier Health, and considered everyone there as part of her family. Debra was also formerly employed at Robertson s Heating Supply. In her past-time, she enjoyed arts and crafts and especially loved making floral arrangements for many of her friends and family. Debra s family would like to thank everyone for their kindness, prayers and generosity. The family is grateful for the extraordinary care Debra received from the nurses and staff at Aultman Hospital and Alliance Community Care Center. Survivors include her husband, Daniel T. Flitcraft whom she married on July 1, 1972; a daughter, Denise C. Flitcraft of Alliance; two sons, Daniel S. (Katie DeNome) Flitcraft of Hopewell, PA and Dustin M. (Krista Seese) Flitcraft of Akron, OH; six grandchildren, Douglas, Zaine, Dominic, Nicholas, Antony and Luca; her parents, William E. and Katherine L. (Marsh) Rush of Alliance; a brother, Doug (Vickie) Rush of Ravenna; a niece, Jillian Rush and a nephew, Scott Rush. Preceding her in death were her beloved in-laws, Donald and Dolores Flitcraft. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mathew M. Mankowski, as celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
