Dean Robert Fisher's Obituary
Dean Robert Fisher, 56, of Lisbon, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at 2:25 p.m. at his home. He was born in Ravenna on May 5, 1948, and lived all of his life in the Alliance area. A 1966 graduate of Marlington High School, Dean was the owner of Fisher Electric for 20 years and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 540. Mr. Fisher attended Southeast Friends Church in Salem. He was an associate member of the V.F.W. Dean is survived by his wife, Shirley (Hawkins) Summer-Fisher whom he married on November 24, 1999; four sons, James E. Fisher of Limaville, Brian D. (Michelle) Fisher of White Sulphur Springs, MT, Todd D. (JoAnn) Fisher of Clinton, and Jeffrey R. Fisher of East Canton; a step-daughter, Kimberly S. (Jeff) Swetye of Salem; two step-sons, Jeffrey J. (Lisa) Summer of Alliance and Jason S. Summer of Alliance; nine grandchildren, Jory and Daisy Fisher, Benjamin and Evan Fisher, Erin and Nolan Swetye, and Jessica, Makenna, and Caden Summer ; a sister, Connie Wallace of Leavenworth, KS; two brothers, Larry (Kay) Fisher of Lake Placid, FL and Gary (Virginia) Fisher of Tucson, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal pet, Marty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Corrine (Newhouse) Fisher. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Williamson officiating.
