David R. Fox's Obituary
David R. Fox, 47, of Aurora, CO, formerly of Alliance, thanks to God s tender mercy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, after years of courageously battling with strokes and seizures. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Born on December 28, 1962 in New Brighton, PA he lived in Aurora, CO most of his life. A 1980 graduate of West Branch High School he attended ministerial college and was a U. S. Army veteran. David was an electrician by trade. He was a member of the U. S. Chess Federation. A loved and respected member of the community, he brought encouragement to all and lived every day to its fullest. In his past-time he enjoyed fishing with his sons and was an avid baseball and Dallas Cowboy fan. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca (Holland) Fox; three sons, Chad, Adam and Evan Fox all of Dallas, PA; his mother and step-father, Gloria and Gerald Dorsey of Alliance; two brothers, Timothy Fox of Alliance and Todd Fox of Sebring; his step-mother Etta (Mock) Fox of Alliance; many step-brothers; step-sisters; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and cousins; many step-grandchildren; a special little angel, Akaydia, who kissed GG s boo boo s away every day. Preceding him in death was his father, David Fox; grandparents; step-sister, Allison; two aunts, Annabelle and Shirley; and an uncle, Norman. There will be no services or calling hours.
