David Lee Deuley, Sr.'s Obituary
David Lee Deuley, Sr., 62, of Deerfield, died on Friday, October 6, 2006, at 1:55 p.m. at Altercare of Alliance. David was born on December 26, 1943 in Ravenna, and lived in Deerfield all of his life. Mr. Deuley was employed at Transport America for the past 14 years and had been a truck driver for forty years. A dedicated husband, father and friend, he will be missed by his wife, Parthina (Nicholas) Deuley, whom he married on August 16, 1986; his two daughters, Sandra K. Williams and Carleen C. Deuley, both of Akron; his two sons, Troy B. (Faith Hall) Nicholas of Deerfield and David L. (Jennifer Davis) Deuley, Jr. of Kent; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Hall of Branson, MO and Virginia Butler of Canton; a brother, Denzil Deuley of Deerfield; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Colonel C. and Pearl (Jones) Deuley; and a brother, Ray G. Deuley. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ed Harnish of the Marlboro Christian Church officiating.
