When I came to visit family in Alliance I always looked forward to visiting with Darryl. Definitely a highlight of my trips. He had such a happy outlook on life, full of good conversation, beautiful smile, contagious laugh. Visiting with him always left me thinking to myself, I should try to be more like Darryl. When visiting at the old house on Freedom Ave, I would look forward to him riding up the street everyday to say hello. Last fall I very much enjoyed having dinner with him and the entire family at the Texas Road House Grill. Made sure I got a good seat next to him so we could catch up and I could help him with his meal. Visiting Alliance will never be the same. Adored this man! Will miss him, his brother Doug, and of course Aunt Pauline. Love and hugs from your cousin-in-law from Canada. Wish I could be there in person this summer. Definitely will be on-line for the service on Monday. My condolences to the entire family!!
