Darrell G. Clark's Obituary
Darrell G. Clark, 72, of Alliance, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 20, 2006, at 11:50 a.m. at Aultman Hospital. Darrell was born in Alliance on June 29, 1934, and lived in Alliance most of his life. Mr. Clark was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. A U.S. Army veteran, he has served our country in Active Duty from 1957 - 1959. He retired as foreman from Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products where he was employed from 1966 - 1987. He was also formerly employed at Alliance Ware and Alliance Wall. Darrell especially enjoyed spending time using his woodworking skills. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Pusateri) Clark, whom he married on June 30, 1954; a daughter, Mary (Gary) Transue of Aurora; two sons, George (Susan) Clark of Homeworth and Dan (Jodi) Clark of Charlotte, NC; 5 grandchildren; Timothy Transue, Lindsay Clark, Mitchell Clark, Rebecca Clark, and Stephanie Clark; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe & Faye Pusateri of Alliance; sister-in-law, Frances Roesti of Alliance, sister-in-law & brother-in law, Mitzi &Frank DeGroff of Alliance; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Nancy & Allen Moff of Atwater; one brother, Eugene Clark of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Darrell was preceded in death by his son, Leroy Clark, his parents, George and Mary (Gardener) Clark; and his father & mother in laws, Joseph and Mickey (Danzo) Pusateri. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert as celebrant. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
