Darleen M. LaNave's Obituary
Darleen M. (Wallace) LaNave, 81, of Alliance, was reunited with the love of her life on Friday, May 26, 2023.
Born on September 13, 1941 in Alliance, to Clifford R. and Pearl E. (Brand) Wallace, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
A 1959 graduate of Alliance High School, Darleen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Darleen loved taking trips out west by train with her husband, Don, especially to Las Vegas and enjoyed winter months in Florida.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Foughty and son-in-law, Bill Foughty; a sister, Leona Frederick of NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, John D. LaNave, whom she married on February 28, 1959; her son, Michael LaNave; her parents; and an infant brother, Marvin Wallace.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
