Daniel W. Sexton's Obituary
Daniel W. Sexton, 64, of Alliance, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 9:10 pm at Canton Health Care Center. He was born on June 19, 1949 in Alliance, to Thomas and Dorothy E. (Friedman) Sexton and lived in Alliance for most of his life. Danny was a 1967 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Canton and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance. He served our country in the U.S. Army after graduating from high school. Mr. Sexton was a member of the Knights of Columbus #657 and enjoyed boxing in his younger years. Danny is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Anderson of Alliance; two nieces, Natalie (Mark) Drakulich, Claudette Anderson; four nephews, Dean Wolford, Dan Anderson, Mark Anderson, and Matt Anderson; two great-nieces, Sarah and Rachel Drakulich; three great-nephews, Steven Drakulich, Evan Anderson, and Ethan Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Colette Wolford; and a brother, Thomas Sexton Jr. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Matthew J. Mankowski, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
