Daniel "Butch" Boschini's Obituary
Daniel Lewis “Butch” Boschini, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on November 3, 1945, to the late Angelo and Santa Boschini.
Daniel was a proud veteran who served as a jet engine mechanic in the United States Air Force for four years, a chapter of his life that shaped his strong work ethic and dedication to service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #166.
After his time in the military, Daniel embarked on a 30-year career with Chrysler Automotive, retiring on December 31, 1997. Throughout his career, he was known for his commitment and skill, traits that carried over into his personal life.
Daniel was married to the love of his life, Barbara (Taylor) Boschini, for 56 wonderful years, having wed on August 31, 1968. Together, they raised two sons, Daniel (Debra) and Jonathan (Karissa), with whom he shared countless moments of pride. Daniel's family was the center of his world, and he was especially devoted to his three granddaughters, Allison (Brenden) Lipely, Taylor, and Baylee, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild, Ellis, this year.
Daniel was a man of many passions. He enjoyed drag racing, participating in bowling leagues, and most of all, supporting his children and grandchildren in all their sporting events and activities. His presence at these events will be missed by all who knew him.
He is also survived by his two sisters, Nancy (Jerry) Myers and Mary (Daniel) Noll, who were a source of great joy and support throughout his life.
Daniel was known for his kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength. He touched the lives of those around him, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
