Dale B. Neiswanger's Obituary
Dale B. Neiswanger, Sr., 74, formerly of Alliance, died on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 11:30 p.m. in Killeen, Texas. Born in Alliance on February 14, 1930, he had lived in Alliance most of his life. Dale was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. Mr. Neiswanger retired from Royal China where he had been employed as a laborer/dipper. He is survived a daughter, Connie (Ron) McGee of Ft. Hood, TX; four sons, Dale Neiswanger, Jr., of Homeworth, Dexter (Angie) Neiswanger of Alliance, Forest (Kathy) Neiswanger of Sebring, and Danny (Carla) Neiswanger of West Virginia; 4 grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Cain of Lake Worth, FL; two brothers, Howard Neiswanger of Beloit and Russell Clark of Homeworth; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Neiswanger was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Neiswanger; his parents, Howard F. and Ida (Hofer) Neiswanger; and a sister, Esther May Yeagley. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Peters officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the Alliance American Legion Post 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1036, will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
