Cynthia (Morelli) Black's Obituary
Cynthia (Morelli) Black, 38, of Casa Grande, AZ and formerly of Alliance, died suddenly on Saturday, November 29, 2008 in Casa Grande, AZ. She was born on July 17, 1970 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance most of her life, moving to Arizona three years ago. A 1988 graduate of West Branch High School, she attended Akron University and Youngstown University earning her Masters degree in early childhood education. Cindy was a preschool disability and special needs teacher for Pathway Learning Center in Chandler, AZ, and had also been employed with the Mahoning County school system with early childhood special needs. She is survived by her husband, Ray Black; two step-daughters, Rebecca Black of the home and Samantha Rae Black of NC; a step-son, Robert Black of the home; her parents, Anthony J. and Kathryn (Grodski) Morelli of Alliance; grandmothers, Helen Grodski and Alice Morelli; two brothers, Anthony J. Morelli Jr. of Homeworth and Michael L. Morelli of Toledo; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her grandfathers, Walter S. Grodski and Perry Morelli. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on December 6, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngtown.
