Craig A. Boyce's Obituary
Craig Boyce passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at the age of 70 on Thursday, March 15, 2018 and went home to his Lord.
Craig’s family and friends bid farewell to a great man who loved God and his family. He was born to Thomas and Verna (McCormick) Boyce on February 7, 1948 in Alliance. He was married to Rose (DiMichele) Boyce for 38 years until his passing.
After graduating from Marlington High School, Youngstown State University, and Asbury Theological Seminary, he worked at the Ohio Department of Transportation for 48 years and later for various counties.
Craig cared for his family and friends. His gentle spirit touched the lives of many. He was dedicated to serving Cornerstone Christian Church as a member and elder and enjoyed teaching and pastoral care. He will be remembered for his gentle, quiet, and proper demeanor as well as his faith, high ethical standards, and integrity. He will be missed.
Survivors include his wife Rose A. (DiMichele) Boyce, whom he married on June 28, 1980; his son, Michael A. (Raquel "Tabi") Boyce of Santiago, Chile; his daughter, Kenna A. Boyce of Hannibal, NY; two grandchildren, Lydia and Caleb Boyce; his mother, Verna Boyce of Alliance; two sisters, Sharon (Bruce) Conner of Strongsville, OH and Marilyn (Anthony) Rothermel of North Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father, Thomas Boyce.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Christian Church. His Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Rex Morey, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
