Corwin "Butch" Nichols' Obituary
Corwin "Butch" Nichols, 78, of Alliance, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 4:50 pm at his home in Alliance.
Born on July 26, 1940 in Alliance, he lived in Alliance for most of his life and had resided with his daughter, Sandi, for the past ten years.
He attended Alliance High School and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Butch was employed at Chrysler Twinsburg, Transue & Williams, and Morgan Engineering retiring in 1979 after his accident.
Butch enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his children, David (Tina) Nichols of Alliance, Vicki Sines of Alliance, Sandi (Dave) McBride of Alliance, Barb (Mark) McCord of Wooster, Larry (Veronica) Nichols of Alliance and Cory (Stacey) Nichols of Homeworth; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter; his brother, Bill Nichols of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his daughter, Christine Niner; his parents, Ray and Verna (Maloney) Harris; three sisters, Ruth Mathes, Bonnie Wirth and Edith Worley; and two grandchildren, Trina Nichols and Joseph Nichols.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin 12:00 pm with Rev. Mark McCord.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
