Connie Sue (Stanley) Welling's Obituary
Connie Sue Welling, 54, of Sebring, died on Monday, February 27, 2006, at 8:40 p.m. at Crandall Medical Center after a courageous six year battle with cancer. Connie was born in Alliance on February 8, 1952 and lived most of her life in Sebring. She had worked at The Genie Company. She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Dan) Dennis of Alliance; her son, John E. (Carla) Welling, Jr. of Alliance; her mother, Barbara (Myers) Stanley of Alliance; three sisters, Mary Lynn Stanley of Alliance, Karen Dearth of Minerva, and Kelly Stanley of Columbiana; four brothers, Bobby Stanley of Alliance, David Stanley of Atwater, Lester Stanley of Beloit, and Robert Stanley of Columbiana; her former husband, John Welling, Sr. of Minerva; her mother-in-law, Anna Mae Welling of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rhonda Jean Welling; her father, Robert C. Stanley; and her father-in-law, Carl E. Welling. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 3, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joanne Dota, chaplain of the Hospice of the Valley, officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
