When I was nine Aunt Connie told me that one of her favorite holidays was Sweetest Day. Sweetest Day is celebrated to bring love and encouragement to others. Aunt Connie lived her life as if every day was Sweetest Day. With Love, Sharon
When I first met Connie and Cindy they quickly became my first sweet liitle sisters. As life happened, there were many joys and disappointments for Connie, but she remained cheerful and pleasant. Thank you, Connie, for our conversations about Jesus. May you now enjoy being where there shall no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain: and where there are streets of gold (Rev. 21:4 and 21). Someday we will rejoice there together.
My Aunt Connie. I always felt Connies love for me. Whether it was her big hugs or the special Christmas ornaments that she would attach to my Christmas presents. I always felt Connies love, and I always will. Barry Green.
How proud I was when I was told I had twin sisters. Janet and I stood in front of the store telling everyone they were born. I stayed proud of Connie my whole life. She was always a very giving, loving, strong person. Whenever life brought me trials I would remember what Connie had gone through and knew I could make it also. She ran a good race and now she is with our other sister, Karen and the Lord Jesus Christ. Someday I'll get to have more of her hugs and love.
At least Connie Walks with Tom and knows the truth behind the guys missing. My thoughts & prayers go out to the Mangino Family. Sincerely Jon Andren Brother of David M. Winters

Aunt Connie would let me stay at her apartment in the summers of my youth, I can remember one time she had taken me and a friend to see a movie and when it was over and we were on our way home we stuck our heads out the car windows and started singing the the soundtrack to the movie, I can remember the look on her face and driving as fast as she could to get us home. Thank You Aunt Connie for being in my life, I Love You. Michael E Green
In trying to describe Connie, three words come to mind. They are courage, dignity and determination. She fought the good fight to the end, both personally and in the POW/MIA issue. Connie was a wonderful person and she will be missed. To her family I offer my deepest sympathy. Lynn O'Shea NY, NY.
Connie was one special person and she will be missed tremendously by all those who knew her, but just take comfort in the knowledge that she will be in a better place with all of those that we have lost before her. Love from John & Carol McGirr
