Connie M. (Betts) Kraft Funk's Obituary
Connie M. (Betts) Kraft Funk, 74, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at 10:45 p.m. surrounded by her family at Aultman Hospital. A lifelong resident of Alliance, she was born on October 15, 1933. She was a member of the VFW and the Roma Society. She was a member of the Southside Church of God. She belonged to the Faces of Hope Support Group and to the Woman to Woman Support Group, both of Canton, and she was active in the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Connie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed gardening and playing many leisurely games with family and friends. Connie is survived by her children, Larry and (April) Kraft of Homeworth, Tracy and (Joe) Toussant of Louisville, Jeanine Reed of Alliance, and Allan Funk of Atlanta, Georgia; son-in-law, Larry "Joe" Wilson of Limaville; daughter-in-law Pam Kraft of Alliance; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy (Roger) Betz of Alliance and Susan Brubaker of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by first husband, Clarence Kraft; her second husband, Richard Funk; her parents, Allan and Ethel (Brady) Betts; a daughter, Victoria Wilson; a son, John Kraft; a grandson, Shawn Kraft; and a nephew, Dennis Betz. The family will receive friends at the Southside Church of God on Friday, December 7, 2007, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Storlie officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
