Cleo M. Penrod's Obituary
Cleo M. Penrod, 98, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
Born on August 2, 1920 in Alliance, to Earl and Mary Ethel (Miller) Hurford, she lived in Alliance all of her life and was employed at Universal Coop.
Cleo enjoyed dancing, playing cards, reading books and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her three daughters, Janet Moore Namoske, Judy (Felice) Rinaldi both of Alliance and Linda (Dominic) Rex of Canton; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Vernon J.C. Penrod, whom she married on September 25, 1937 and who died on April 7, 1982; her parents; two sisters, Gladys Robbins and Wilda Schultz; and a brother, George Hurford; a great-granddaughter, Marisa L. Rinaldi; a great-great-grandson, Ryder Metzger.
Per her wishes, private services will be held.
