Claudia Jean (Burns) Muniz's Obituary
Claudia Jean (Burns) Muniz, 58, of Hanoverton, died on Thursday, December 18, 2003, at 9:10 p.m. at her home. Born on November 28, 1945, she had been a resident of the Alliance area her entire life graduating from West Branch High School in 1963. Claudia was a ProLife Counselor for Lifeline of Columbiana County and was their volunteer treasurer. She was also on staff at the Spread Eagle Tavern for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Muniz (they were married on June 15, 1963); two daughters, Marcy (Marvin) Aberegg of Sebring and Angie (Andy) Chaplow of Hanoverton; a son, Tony (Michelle) Muniz of Hanoverton; seven grandchildren, Josh Muniz, Jessica Muniz, Ben Muniz, Steven Chaplow, Abigail Aberegg, Madeline Aberegg, and Adam Aberegg; stepmother, Alma Bums of Alliance; sister, Chris (Lee) McCammon of Beloit; two brothers, Bill (Janet) Bums of Sebring and Steve (Nancy) Bums of Mich.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bums and Maxine (Speaks) Bums. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, December 21, 2003, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 21, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Vickie Yoder officiating.
