Claudia M. Leasure's Obituary
Claudia M. Leasure, 62, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 1:50 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Claudia was born on October 23, 1950 and was a lifelong resident of Alliance. She graduated from Alliance High School in 1968. She was a member of First Immanuel United Church of Christ and was a Sister of the Knights of Pythias. Claudia was Club Manager as well as President of the American Legion Post 166 Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, fishing and Cleveland sports teams. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Albert M. Leasure, Jr., whom she married on November 28, 1970; two daughters, Diana (Chris) Herderick of Alliance and Annette Leasure of Alliance; a son, Alan (Kari) Leasure of Canton; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Herderick, Brittany Herderick and Abigail Lynn Leasure; two brothers, Michael (Pam) Sheehan and Craig Sheehan; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Petey & Precious. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Geneve (Weibel) Sheehan. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, September 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Neal Mann. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
