Christine M. Nelson's Obituary
Christine M. (Bielz) Nelson, 64, of Marlboro, passed away among family after a long battle with dementia on August 21, 2024 at Green Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisville.
Born on December 22, 1959 in Canton, to George and Valerie (Robinson) Bielz, she lived in Marlboro most of her life.
A 1978 graduate of Marlington High School, she was employed at Big Lots as a Clerk for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry M. Nelson, whom she married on September 19, 1981; her three daughters, Kirsten (James) Garvey of Hartville, Rachel (Casey) Higgins of Sebring and Molly Nelson of Streetsboro; six grandchildren, Connor Garvey, Evan Garvey, Harper Higgins, Gary Scarbrough, Alani Scarbrough and Lily Scarbrough; two sisters, Sandy (Gary) Showalter of Alliance and Barbara Yoak of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father, George Bielz and her mother, Valerie Bielz-Farmer.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00. Burial will immediately follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
