Cheryl Duell 's Obituary
Cheryl McVay Duell, 63, of Minerva, Ohio, formerly of Claysville, died on Friday, April 21, 2017, in Aultman Hospital, Canton, OH.
She was born on March 6, 1954, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Robert B. McVay, Jr., and Marian Lang McVay.
Mrs. Duell was a 1972 graduate of McGuffey High School.
Cheryl enjoyed a wide variety of arts and crafts, and was a very gifted artist, especially with painting. She loved spending her time outdoors and gardening.
On February 12, 2010, she married Ray S. Duell, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Adam R. Simers, of Nashville, TN; a daughter, Emily S. (Will) Hamrick, of Tallmadge, OH; three stepdaughters, Christina E. Barnhill, of Alliance, OH, Devon C. (Justin) Dorsey, of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Brandi M. (Daniel) Mabry, of Pace, FL; and six grandchildren, Alaina, Kylie, Jadyn, Damien, Berlyn, and Cainan.
Deceased is a sister, Christine McVay.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity, PA
