Cheryl DelPuppo's Obituary
Cheryl DelPuppo, 60, of Alliance, went home to Heaven in the early hours of Monday, February 1, 2010. She was born on July 24, 1949 in East Liverpool, and lived in Alliance most of her life. A 1967 graduate of Alliance High School, Cheryl and her husband were owners of several local businesses. Over the years she assisted her husband with girl s softball and coordinating community events, including the annual carnival at the College Plaza. Cheryl was always content to work behind the scenes and lift up those around her. Her legacy lives on with her gift of sight through eye donation. She is survived by her husband, Louis DelPuppo whom she married on January 25, 1969; four daughters, whom she raised with her husband from their home on Easton St., Deanette (Joseph) Clance of Kansas City, MO, Clara (James) Monroe of Harrisburg PA, Sarah DelPuppo of Alliance and Teresa (Garrett) Riesen of Alliance; twelve grandchildren, John, Micheal, Christopher, Justin, Nathan, Matthew, Alexis, Andrew, Donavan, Dakota, Dillan and Derringer; her parents, Dean and Sarah (Hayes) Allison of Alliance; a sister, Margaret (Pete) Garrison of Alliance; a brother, Robert (Cathy) Allison of Yorktown, VA; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Richard E. Wallace, Sr. of Beechwood United Methodist Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
