Charlotte Middleton Retterer's Obituary
Charlotte Middleton Retterer, 60, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at 2:25 p.m. at Aultman Hospital. She was born on October 10, 1950 to Burl and Mary (Holbrook) Middleton. She was a member of Alliance Independent Baptist Church. In her past-time, she enjoyed reading her Bible, working crossword puzzles and playing Sudoku. Everyone who knew Charlotte, loved her. She is survived by her father, Burl Middleton of the home; three sons, Mark Middleton of the home, Mathew Retterer of Alliance, and John Retterer of Carrollton; three granddaughters, Gwynne, Emily, and Maddison Retterer and their mother, Tarya Retterer all of Alliance; a grandson, Lincoln Retterer of Carrollton; one great-grandson Jesezelle Mills of Alliance, a sister, Kathy Middleton (Jeff) McMullen; two brothers, Ronnie (Gina) Middleton of Minerva and Randy (Lori) Middleton of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her mother, Mary (Holbrook) Middleton; a sister, Loretta (Middleton) Maxon Hernandez; a brother, John Middleton; and a nephew, Scott Conley. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Alliance Independent Baptist Church on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with Elder Jim Owens and Elder Arthur Jay Hale co-officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
