Charlotte Grace Kinsey's Obituary
Charlotte Grace Kinsey, 84, of Johnstown and formerly of Alliance, died on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at 7:05 a.m. at Chestnut House in Newark, OH. She was born on February 23, 1927 in Alliance, and lived in Alliance most of her life. She attended Bolton School and was a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Kinsey enjoyed crafts, playing cards, bowling and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Belinda (Dennis) Monter of Johnstown, OH; a son, David R. Kinsey of Canton; five grandchildren, Shannon (Mike) Skidmore, Shawn Monter, Amy (Jay) Piacella, Amanda Kinsey and Alicia Kinsey; seven great-grandchildren, Jillian, Sydney, Drew, Devon, Blake, Michael and Karley; a sister, Donna Christman of Springfield, OH; a brother, Kenneth Reynolds of Amado, AZ; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death was her husband, Howard Kinsey on April 8, 1991, whom she married on January 3, 1948; her parents, Almond C. and Susie (Harrison) Reynolds; five sisters, Viola Seifert, Pauline Marckel, Edith Marshall, Hazel Carver, and Phyliss Woods; and two brothers, Harold Reynolds and Albert Reynolds. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on, Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. David Storlie of Southside Church of God officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
