Charles L. Wilson 's Obituary
Charles L. Wilson, 82, of Alliance, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 12:37 am at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida.
Born on June 10, 1933 in Alliance, Ohio to James C. and Gertrude (Warren) Wilson, he lived in Alliance most of his life.
Chuck was a graduate of Alliance High School and a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving our country as an MP from 1953-55.
Chuck was the owner of the former Jim Charles Barber Shop in Alliance for many years. He and wife Pat spent winters at their Florida home in Dunedin. He enjoyed woodcarving, woodworking and painting.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. (Radakovich) Wilson, whom he married on February 27, 1972; four sons, James (Bernadette) Wilson of Tiffin, OH; Mitchell (Shelley) Wilson of Pickerington, OH; Larry (Maria) Kerns of Shaker Heights, OH; and David Kerns of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren, Kelley, Bailey, Charles, Alaina, Griffin & Grace; a brother, Bill (Bonnie) Wilson of Homeworth, OH; and an aunt Artie (Warren) Martin of Dunedin, FL.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James C. and Gertrude Wilson.
Per Chuck’s request, there will be no services.
