Charles Paul Weekley's Obituary
Charles Paul Weekley, 71, of Alliance passed away Thursday, June 26, 2003, of natural causes at his home. He was born in Middleboume, West Virginia, on January 21, 1932, to Alvie James and Cora Sue (Gaines) Weekley. Mr. Weekley moved to Alliance from West Virginia in 1964 and retired from Transue & Williams where he worked in the shear room for 26 years. Mr. Weekley was the beloved father of eight surviving children including five sons, Charles H. (Deborah) Weekley, Richard (Natalie) Weekley, and Ralph Weekley, all of Norwich, OH, James (Randy) Weekley and Roger Weekley, both of Alliance; three daughters, Pandora (Ronald) Howell and Cindy Gillman, both of Alliance, and Brenda Fannin of Sebring. Mr. Weekley was also loved and will be missed by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Lee Carroll of Grants Pass, OR; and one sister, Madelline Pickens of Belmont, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his three brothers, James, Russell, and Lawrence, all of West Virginia. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, June 29, 2003, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 30, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Peters, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
