Charles S. Rogers' Obituary
Charles S. Rogers passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 16, 2002. Mr. Rogers was a member of St. Nicholas Romanian Church. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1036 and the American Legion Post 166. He was also a member of the P .B.O. Elks, Lodge 467. A graduate of the Class of 1941 at Alliance High School, he attended Mount Union College, Ohio University and Texas A&M. Mr. Rogers was last affiliated with Roadhouse Charley Restaurant, which he built in 1987. During his lifetime he was a restaurateur of several establishments in the Alliance area. Survivors include his wife Helen (Morar) Rogers of the home; a son and daughter-in- law, Charles S. Jr.and Meleia Rogers of Paris, Ohio; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Troy Reagan of Naples, Florida and Danielle and John Heather of North Canton; two grandchildren, Anthony Charles Rogers and Leyna Marie Heather; two brothers, George Rogers of Alliance and Victor Rogers of Alliance. Private funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. There are no calling hours.
