Charles E. Kingan's Obituary
Charles Edwin Kingan, 77, of Canton, Ohio and formerly of Fairchance, Pa. died and went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on January 11, 2011, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. He was born November 7, 1933 in Gans, Pa., son of Wilbur H. Wib Kingan and Anna Marie Pugh Kingan. His parents and wife, Carolyn Sue Walters Kingan are predeceased. He was a graduate of Point Marion High School and served in the United States Air Force. Ed was a longtime faithful Baptist Church member, when he lived in Maryland, Florida, Pennsylvania and most recently in Ohio. Surviving are his children: Debbie Jean Kingan Fricke, Winchester, Va., Richard Allen Kingan and wife, Gretchen Kingan, Rockville, Md. and Dale Edwin Kingan and wife, Michelle Kingan, Kearneys-ville, W.Va. and the children's mother, Eleanor Marie Kingan, Tampa, Florida; nine grandchildren: Christopher, James, Bobby, Jason, Anthony, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Dylan and Marcus; one great-grandson, Donovan and his loving companion, Thelma Thoburn, Canton, Ohio. The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, January 14, 2011 until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service with Rev. Scott Hoppe officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. Local arrangements were by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, Alliance, Ohio.
