Charles Husat 's Obituary
Charles R. Husat, 75, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 8:35 pm at his home in Alliance.
Born on December 24, 1942 in Alliance, Ohio to Victor and Wilma I. (Ritchie) Husat, he lived in Alliance for all of his life.
Chuck was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #558. He had been employed at Weibush’s and Republic Waste of Massillon, Ohio as a Master Mechanic.
Survivors include his sons, Todd A. Husat of Alliance, OH; Charles R. Leasure of Minerva, OH: a daughter Nicol Spears of Alliance, OH: three sisters, Eileen Best, Karan Phillips and Genie Bath; a brother, Eugene Leasure; 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Emma Jean (Emplit) Husat on October 21, 2004; one son, Troy R. Husat; his father, Victor Husat; his mother, Wilma I. Leasure; step-father, Vonley Leasure; a step mother Loretta Husat; and a sister Vickie.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Community Hospice and the Gabriel Cancer Center for their care given to Chuck during his time with them.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
