My mom and dad, Jay and Vicky Erchick, lived next door to Chuck on Garfield Ave. for a long time. When my dad was no longer physically able to mow the grass, Chuck was kind enough to take over that job. In payment for his service, mom would give him $10 and a beer. He would sit on my parents’ front porch and drink the beer with them. He was a good neighbor. God rest his soul.
Deepest condolences on the loss of Chuck from Mike & Nancy (Schuller) Harsh, and prayers for the family. Mike's Mom was in a card club with Chuck's Mom and their families knew and visited with each other years ago. My siblings and I lived next door to South Lincoln School and the Chambers kids went to school with us. May God be with you all in the days and weeks ahead. I hope you find comfort in many fond memories and the thought that you will see him again someday. In Christian love, Nancy (and Mike)
His memory is our keepsake,
with which we'll never part.
God has him in his keeping,
we will always have him in our hearts.
My deepest sympathy to the family for the loss of Charles. I was privileged to have spent so may years working with him at St. Joseph Care Center. He was a joy to work with. Chuck was a hard-working, dedicated, and kind spirited friend that will be missed.
Chuck preceded me at St. Joseph on midnights and took extremely good care of the floors for all the years after I left. He was a very good worker and and really nice friend!

Deepest condolences to Scott and Jamie. Thinking of your entire Family at this sad time. Peace Be with you all.
When I first saw Chuck at St. Joseph Care Center I was a little Leary of him with his baseball hat and scraggly beard 😂 Once we started talking I found him to be an awesome guy. I enjoyed are morning talks and hearing his stories of his family that he loved deeply. I also loved his fishing stories. My sympathy to his family! RIP my friend💙
