Cathrine J. Markle's Obituary
Cathrine J. (Gorrell) Markle, 89, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 1:55 am at Windsor House at Champion in Warren, Ohio.
Born on March 29, 1928 in Alliance, Ohio to Ben C. and Mary Jane (LaMotte) Gorrell, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
Following her high school graduation, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and was employed as a high school teacher for many years.
She leaves behind several family members and friends. Preceding her in death was her husband, Alva H. Markle, whom she married on June 28, 1964; and her parents, Ben C. and Mary Jane Gorrell.
A private visitation and service was held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Burial immediately followed at Alliance City Cemetery.
