Carroll R. Hoschar's Obituary
Carroll Richard Hoschar, 74, of Atwater, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 5:02 p.m. at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Born on September 3, 1938 in Racine, Ohio, he was raised in Deerfield, and lived in Atwater most of his life. He attended Southeast High School and retired from T & W Forge, where he was employed in heat control. In his past-time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. Survivors include his wife, Kay (Oyster) Hoschar whom he married on April 11, 1959; two daughters, Melinda (Larry) Bozek of Atwater and Kristina (Scott) Beans of Atwater; a son, Terry Hoschar of Atwater; three grandchildren, Austin, Douglas and Devon; two sisters, Betty (Jack) Simcox of Warren and Pearl (Wesley) Hill of Vine Grove, KY; a sister-in-law, Ruth Hoschar of MO; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his son, Devone Thomas Hoschar; his parents, Harvey and Myrtle (Parsons) Hoschar; two sisters, Maxine and Elsie; and two brothers, Albert and Earl. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Neil Taylor, Pastor of Atwater Community Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
