Carolyn Salaski's Obituary
Carolyn Salaski, 56, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. at McCrea Manor. She was born on December 8, 1953 in Meadville, PA, and lived in the Alliance area for the past 32 years. Carolyn graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School and went on to Kent State University where she studied to become a Registered Nurse. She worked providing care to residents at Oakhill Manor. Mrs. Salaski was a member of the Maranatha Church of God. She loved to garden and work outside along with her husband and family. Carolyn used many of the flowers she grew at home to decorate her church and other businesses in Alliance. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Ronald Salaski whom she married on July 30, 1977; two daughters, Heather Salaski of Columbus and Kaylee Salaski of the home; two sons, Joshua and Paul Salaski both of the home; two brothers, Charles (Diane) Robinson of New Jersey and Clifford Robinson of Massillon; and two nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Virginia (Brock) Robinson. Interment took place at West Cemetery in Palmyra Township, according to Carolyn's wishes. A Memorial Service will be held at Maranatha Church of God on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. with the Reverend Jeff Caldwell officiating. There will be no calling hours.
