Carolyn E. Glasser's Obituary
Carolyn E. (Kirby) Glasser, 78, of Canton, went home to her Lord Jesus, on December 28, 2022.
Carolyn was born on April 4, 1944 in Canton to the late William and Ethel (Langanke) Kirby. She graduated from Glenwood High School in 1962, and graduated sum cum laude from Malone University in 1992 with a B.A. in Business Administration.
Carolyn worked at WOIO radio station, where she met her husband, William C. Glasser, and they were married in 1967. They celebrated 55 years together.
Carolyn also worked at Leeds and Northrup, Aultman Hospital as Administrative Assistant to the Hospital President, and at the Austin Bailey Health and Wellness Foundation, where she retired in 2011.
Carolyn and Bill enjoyed travelling to many of the National Parks in the U.S., and also enjoyed traveling to Europe, especially England, which was one of their favorite places to explore. Those English village gardens inspired Carolyn as she worked in her own flower gardens through the years.
Carolyn attended Parkside Church and Bible Study groups in Bainbridge, Ohio.
Carolyn was preceded in death by a brother and his wife, Todd and Barbara Kirby; and a sister, Barbara Cole.
She is survived by her husband, William Glasser; her sister, Marcia Kirby; her brother and his wife, Scott and Susan Kirby of Grafton, Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
