Carol A. Wallace's Obituary
Carol A. (Reisch) Wallace, 88, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 4:38 a.m. at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital, with her beloved daughter, Lori, by her side.
Born on February 10, 1931 in Lisbon, Ohio to Norman and Lucille (Schrader) Reisch, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Carol was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church, and was a 1949 graduate of Alliance High School.
Carol retired from Lordstown GM as an assembler after 24 years of service. She had previously worked at Sears, Buzzes Highway Market, Ohio Tool & Drill and the Stagecoach Inn.
She will always be remembered for her enormous heart. She loved people and was very generous; always thinking & doing for others before herself.
Carol loved playing cards with her card club, bowling, planting flowers, gardening, baking, entertaining and traveling. She enjoyed family functions, going to car shows with her friends and going to Mountaineer with her granddaughter, Megan. She also enjoyed crocheting and making afghans. Special thanks to her caregivers, Shirley Tullis, Cassandra Westfall, Rosie Nichols, Carla Ritchie, Lisa McAllister and Tasha Ackerson.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl S. Dean, Lori L. Wallace; a son, Ronnie Lee Wallace; a granddaughter, Megan (Daniel) Meese, and their children, Maddix Lee Meese, Paxtin Liam Meese, Hendrix Leon Meese; step-grandson, Seth C. Dean and Brittany Jarvis and their son Seth Jr; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Norman Reisch and Lucy Cordella Reisch; two sisters, Marilyn Hazen and Barbara Bodo; and two brothers, Seward Reisch and Norman Reisch, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
Internment will take place in Fairmount Memorial Park.
