Carl Stancato's Obituary
Carl Stancato, 81, formerly of Alliance, died on Thursday, May 2, 2002, in Ravenna. Born in Alliance, on November 2, 1921, he had lived most of his life in the Alliance area. He retired from the former Alliance Wall. He enjoyed auto body repair. Survivors include three daughters, Rose Ann Stancato of Alliance, Lois Jean Hudson and finance, Tom Walsh of Ravenna, and Belinda Gay Jarvis of Atwater; a son, Randy Dean Stancato of Alliance, nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Louis Stancato of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Salvatore Sam and Rosina (Cherva) Stancato; one sister, Angalie; and four brothers, Joe, John, Frank, and Tony. Graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Chapel on Monday, May 6, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
