C. M. "Coug" Locke's Obituary
C. M. "Coug" Locke, 91, of Alliance, died on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 4:30 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born on December 26, 1916 in Buchtel, and lived in Alliance most of his life. Coug retired from Transue & Williams, where he was employed as an inspector. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 271. Coug is survived by a daughter-in-law, Janice Locke of Alliance; two grandchildren, Chris (Stephanie) Locke and Michelle (Greg) Noll; two great-grandchildren, Rebekah Locke and Anna Noll; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his wife, Betty J. (Storck) Locke on March 11, 2004, whom he married on June 12, 1940; a son, Craig M. Locke on June 26, 2008; his parents, George H and Lily (Kenyon) Locke; five sisters; and three brothers. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2008 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph A. Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
