C. Irene Cironi's Obituary
C. Irene (Wright) Cironi, 89, departed from this life on June 27, 2012 and has gone to be with the Lord. She was born in Newark, Ohio, April 3, 1923 and has been a resident of Alliance for the better part of her life. After graduating Marlboro High School, she was employed as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was active as a daily Mass Lector, Adoration, Rosary and Bible study groups. Irene was also a member of Parkway Senior Bowling League and was fond of spectator sports, including basketball, softball, baseball and bowling. Survivors include her sons, Mark (Jane) Cironi of Fairlawn, Dale (Elaine) Cironi of Warren, and Louis (Elizabeth) Cironi of Hamilton, VA; her daughters, Patricia Dutrow of McLean,VA, Cynthia Wolpert of Medina and Deborah (James) Marshall of Canton; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed Wright of Port Ritchie, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was very grateful for the blessings of her family. Preceding her in death was her husband, Louis Cironi on May 4, 1996, whom she married on February 14, 1947; her parents, Edwin and Eva Wright; and a brother, Richard Wright. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Mathew Mankowski and Rev. Fr. Donald Feicht, as con-celebrants. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
