Bryce Skidmore's Obituary
Bryce Skidmore, 9, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. He was born on April 25, 2004 and had lived in Alliance all of his life. Bryce was a 4th grade student at Rockhill Elementary School. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and Christ United Methodist Church where he sang with the Cherub Choir. Bryce loved to sing and was taking piano lessons. He also enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his friends at Rockhill. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family. Survivors include his parents, Brian and Joan (Waggenspack) Skidmore; a brother, Nicholas; his grandparents, Denzil and Wilma (Brown) Skidmore; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Vincent and Virginia Waggenspack; and his great-grandmother, Helen Brown. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, October 18, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Matthew M. Mankowski, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Rev. Stephanie Lee, Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Harlem Springs Cemetery, Harlem Springs, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, 1000 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
