Bruce A. Lowman's Obituary
Bruce A. Lowman, 82, of Alliance, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 7:09 pm at Bel Air Senior Living Community in Alliance.
Born on December 23, 1935 in Alliance, to Walter and Zena (Smith) Lowman, he lived in Alliance for all of his life.
A 1953 Alliance High School graduate, he also attended Mount Union College.
Bruce was member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church, a life member of B.P.O. Elks #467, and a member of the Salem Square Wheels.
Bruce was employed at Western-Southern Ins. Co. as a life insurance agent and retired in 1990 after more than 30 years of service.
Bruce was an avid Mount Union and Ohio State Football Fan, he also supported Alliance and West Branch Athletics.
Survivors include his wife, Jenny (Marshall) Polverine Lowman, whom he married on April 23, 1988; his son, Mark Lowman of Beloit; his daughter, Stacey (Richard) Rice of Columbus; a step-daughter, Lisa Swisher of Alliance; step-grandchildren, Chad and Chris Swisher, Shawn (Erin) Rice and Julia Rice; and one step-great-granddaughter, Isabella Marie.
Preceding him in death was his parents; his brother, Robert A. Lowman; and his first wife, Barbara (Saltzgiver) Lowman.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.  His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am.  Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
