Brenda L. Heslep's Obituary
Brenda L. (Jarvis) Heslep, 63, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023 at her home in Alliance, surrounded by family and close friends.
Born on October 23, 1959 in Alliance to Edward E. and Nancy C. (Gantz) Jarvis, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
A 1977 graduate of Alliance High School, Brenda bartended at several Alliance bars including, The Bier Haus, Louie’s and also owned Brenda's Place for many years.
She was a member of the Dante Alighieri Society, William Penn Club and Women for Trump.
Brenda enjoyed going to the beach, tending to her garden, reading and contributing to the Alliance Women's Shelter.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jacquelyn Heslep of Alliance and Candi (Sam Tanbour) Heslep of Chicago, IL; a sister, Rebecca Jarvis of Alliance; two brothers, Jim (Kathy) Jarvis and Tim (Linda) Jarvis, all of Alliance; her granddaughter, Kiera Hairston of Alliance; close friends, Teresa Benning, Flo Harding, Amy Hawkins as well as many others; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Prince.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life Service will begin at 5:30 pm, with Pastor Kirk Martin, of Alliance Christian Center, officiating.
