Blanche B. Rohrer's Obituary
Blanche B. Rohrer, 89, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at 2:50 p.m., at Aultman Hospital. Born in Latrobe, Pa. on May 25, 1912, she lived in Alliance since 1943. She was a member of Beechwood United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Hopkins of Atwater, Dianne Lashley of Marlboro, and Linda Jones of National City, California; two sons, Robert L. Rohrer of Cypress, California, and John M. Rohrer of Alliance; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Homer of Latrobe, Pa.; and one brother, Paul Homer, of Latrobe, Pa. Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert G. Rohrer, and her parents, Mellon and Bessie (Warner) Homer, and one brother, Lewis Homer. Funeral services will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Saturday, March 16, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Hugh Rohrer officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. There will be no calling hours. The Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
